(1.2) C(t, u) ⊂ H is nonempty, closed, and convex for t ∈ [0, T ], u ∈ H. In (1.1), NC(t,u)(x) denotes the normal cone to C(t, u) at x ∈ C(t, u), cf. Section 2 below. We will treat the case of (t, u) 7→ C(t, u) being Lipschitz continuous w.r. to the Hausdorff distance dH with constants L1, L2 ≥ 0, i.e., we require (1.3) dH(C(t, u), C(s, v)) ≤ L1|t− s|+ L2|u− v|, t, s ∈ [0, T ], u, v ∈ H. Note that a solution of (1.1) in particular has to satisfy u(t) ∈ C(t, u(t)) for t ∈ [0, T ].

Algorithmic Approach for the Asymptotic Behavior of a System of Parabolic Quasi-Variational Inequalities
In this paper we evaluate the variation in L 1-norm between u i h (T; x) ; i = 1; :::; J the discrete solution calculated at the moment T and u i 1 ; the asymptotic continuous solution of the system of parabolic quasi-variational inequalities with noncoercive operators. The proof uses an algorithmic approach and the system of elliptic quasi-variational inequalities results.
متن کاملErgodicity of Robust Switching Control and Nonlinear System of Quasi-Variational Inequalities
We analyze the asymptotic behavior for a system of fully nonlinear parabolic and elliptic quasi variational inequalities. These equations are related to robust switching control problems introduced in [6]. We prove that, as time horizon goes to infinity (resp. discount factor goes to zero) the long run average solution to the parabolic system (resp. the limiting discounted solution to the ellip...
متن کاملVARIATIONAL DISCRETIZATION AND MIXED METHODS FOR SEMILINEAR PARABOLIC OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS WITH INTEGRAL CONSTRAINT
The aim of this work is to investigate the variational discretization and mixed finite element methods for optimal control problem governed by semi linear parabolic equations with integral constraint. The state and co-state are approximated by the lowest order Raviart-Thomas mixed finite element spaces and the control is not discreted. Optimal error estimates in L2 are established for the state...
متن کاملParabolic Quasi-variational Inequalities with Gradient-Type Constraints
The paper addresses existence, uniqueness and approximation methods for a certain class of nonlinear parabolic quasi-variational inequality (QVI) problems with special gradient-type constraints. Problems of this nature are common in the mathematical modeling of superconductors and ionization in electrostatics. The results are developed based on monotone operator theory , C 0 semigroup methods a...
متن کاملRegularity Results for Time-dependent Variational and Quasi-variational Inequalities with Applications to Dynamic Traffic Networks
The aim of this paper is to consider time-dependent variational and quasi-variational inequalities and to study under which assumptions the continuity of solutions with respect to the time can be ensured. Making on appropriate use of the set convergence in Mosco’s sense, we get the desiderate continuity results for strongly monotone variational and quasi-variational inequalities. The continuity...
